As well as the experience that I have in paid jobs and voluntary work, I have studied for an Open University Degree in Environmental Studies (graduating in April 2006) and I have both a chainsaw and First Aid qualification.

Alongside this, I have become a specialist in organising, establishing and delivering a varied remit of educational and entertainment activities as well as consumer outlets. I am experienced in fund (grant) raising, budgeting and retail & personnel management, as well as up to date with current Trading Standards, Environmental Health and Health and Safety requirements.

I understand the cross curricular needs of the education system, and the mechanisms of tempting teachers out of the classroom and into outdoor education. I can teach and work with all age ranges and am confident in all public forums.

I aim to develop my career within the countryside management sector and to become involved in a variety of specialised areas including habitat management, conservation and surveying, liasing with community groups and to promote an appreciation of our natural spaces.

I have been involved with targeted survey programmes including bat and newt (temporary GCN licence held), river monitoring, orchard protection surveys and currently appointed as a volunteer Tree Warden within my local Parish. I have experience of wardening/ranger with the National Trust and surveying with local county wildlife groups.

An important element of my career development has involved acquring the neccessary practical experience to fully enhance the given role. I am skilled in a wide range of hand and powered tools as well as traditional based skills such as hedgelaying, drystone walling and horticultural management.

I am seeking employment in a hands-on, project delivery role in the conservation, land management or countryside sector. Im willing to relocate anywhere in the UK for a job that offers variety, challenges and the opportunity to make a difference.

I'm studying a degree in Environmental Science at Stirling University and I am in 3rd year.

I last year shadowed both forestry commission and rural payments and inspections staff during the summer. This gave me a great opportunity to work in a countryside environment and also helped me with many apsects of my degree.

4 years experience in running the BASC Gamekeepers' Fair both at Shugborough Estate and Catton Park as the sole event administrater based at the BASC Midland Office,Doveridge Clay Sports Club, Derbyshire.

Looking for similar exciting post - must be varied - experienced in booking traders, event accounts, event advertising, membership enquiries. I have completed a Joint Honours Degree in Outdoor Activities and Countryside Management, since finishing this degree i have spent six months abroad in the Italian Dolomites taking guests rock climbing in the mountains, and since i have been back home i have been instructing in a local wall, and climbing outdoors a lot myself.

I'm particularly interested in taking up Arboriculture, i've always loved forests, I am aware that it is going to be hard work, but I'm really motivated to do it. I am currently looking for day release courses in my area or apprentiships in Arboriculture.

I have 11 years experience working as a Park Ranger for Hull City Council, alongside this I have also worked as a Special Constable, and been involved in a number of voluntary projects that benefit communities or the environment.

I have a particular passion for habitat creation, practical conservation and freshwater ecosystem restoration. My ambition is to work in any of these fields reversing some of the damage that has been done to the UK’s natural resources.

My previous employment as a landscape gardener involved the design and construction of public and private projects. In addition, I have a keen interest in countryside conservation and would like to be involved in promoting this to the public.

Whilst studying for my BSc (Hons) Horticulture, I covered a broad range of subjects including Countryside Management and Conservation and produced a number of detailed reports on UK plant and wildlife species and their habitats.

Whilst in South Africa I trained for 6 months then proceeded to work for a year and a half as a Field Guide. During this time I worked closely with Lions and Elephants in the African Bush specialising my knowledge of African Fauna and Flora.

As a Safari Guide in South Africa, knowledge of geography, astronomy, mammals, reptiles, birds, trees and grasses are of high importance. These are just some of the key skills I have gained during my work experience.

Due to my passion of wildlife and nature I am keen to find a job in conservation in the UK. This will also be an interesting and exciting opportunity for me to expand my experiences and skills.

I have a HND in Countryside Management from Aberystwyth University and 12 months work experience with Kew Gardens, Wakehurst Place.

I am good with people and have great comminication skills. I am also good to work on my own or as part of a team. I enjoy walks in the countryside, photography, rugby, camping and keeping smiles on peoples faces. Furthermore I am a hard worker who takes pride in my work.

During my time at university I've learned to take samples of water and soil and analyze these in a laboratory.

I'm doing a degree at university of Worcester, BSc Major Environmental Management and Minor Geography. I am starting my final year of study in two months (09/2010).

I'm looking for a part-time job in the West Midlands region, esp. in Worcester area for now and/or a job for the summer. During the summer I will not be restricted to any specific geographical area.

I'm 22 years old and hard working and sociable and I have a keen interest in the environment.

A graduate with a Computing degree with loads of initiative and a friendly attitude. The ideal role would involve physically demanding role with lashings of ICT and technology.

Currently working as a Contract Forester for the FC in the New Forest and studying towards a Foundation Degree in Lowland Woodland Management & Tree Care.

With ever growing expereince I am presently seeking part/full-time employment within the industry. I have CS-30/31/32, Pa1&Pa6 Certificates and all of my own PPE, equipment and transport.

I am looking for an opportunity for work based training that will lead to a change of career for me into Environmental Conservation Management.

As well as the course below I also do volunteer work for British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) and I also work as part of the South Downs Volunteer Ranger Service.

I am currently doing a Plumpton College/BTCV Environmental Conservation NVQ Level 2 with Chainsaw Training Course two-days a week.

I like to believe that throughout my career I have shown dedication, support, loyalty and commitment to colleagues and those that have employed or used my services. I am extremely hard working and eager to learn new skills and would be delighted to hear from any organisation that is willing to give me this opportunity in any of the areas listed in the chosen career section.

My involvement with the Dorset Wildlife Trust is actual hands on conservation work, coppicing and scrub clearance, which links in with my desire to get back to working within horticulture, animal husbandry or a related environment.

I feel the skills that I have acquired whilst working within the voluntary sector and employment within horticulture and agriculture would be an asset to my chosen employer.

I am currently studying a City & Guilds in horticulture

My MSc has taught me the importance of rigorous scientific inquiry and my field experience has given me the practical edge to follow that through.

In short I am ready, able and willing to complete any tasks which is put in front of me in this my chosen field.
